In 686 patients after knee replacement, timing asymmetry took 13 weeks to normalise and double support 24. The step count settles long before the walking does.

How these pages are written
Each article starts with a direct answer to the question in its title, then gives the evidence behind it with named studies and sample sizes. Where a figure has been widely misquoted elsewhere, that is said on the page. Where the parameter that matters most in a body of research is one Stride One cannot measure, that is said too — on the diabetic-foot page about calibrated pressure, on the falls page about step width, and on the metrics page about gait speed.
