Terms and Conditions of Sale

Last updated: 8 September 2026

These terms apply to every order placed through ceriter.com. Please read them before you order. By placing an order you accept them.

1. Who you are buying from

Ceriter B.V. François de Veijestraat 8B, 6221 AB Maastricht, The Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (KVK): 75191326 · VAT: NL860177804B01 Email: info@ceriter.com

We refer to ourselves as "we" or "Ceriter" and to you as "you". If you are buying as a consumer — that is, not in the course of a business — you have additional rights under Dutch and EU consumer law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.

2. What you are buying

Stride One consists of:

  • a pair of sensor insoles in the size you select, and a charging cable;
  • access to the Stride One app for the duration of your use of the device;
  • access to the Stride One dashboard, and the ability to share your data with a clinician or another person you choose.

Stride One does not diagnose, and it does not replace the advice of a healthcare professional. The instructions for use supplied with the product are the authoritative description of what it does and how to use it safely.

There is no subscription. The price you pay is a single payment covering the insoles, the charging cable, and access to the app and dashboard. There are no recurring charges and no further costs.

3. Prices

Prices are shown on the order page in the currency for your region.

  • Prices for customers in the European Union are shown including VAT.
  • Prices for customers in the United States are shown excluding any sales tax, which is added at checkout where applicable.

Shipping is included. The price shown is the total price. There are no delivery charges to add.

An introductory price is currently offered. We may end or change that offer at any time, but the price shown when you place your order is the price that applies to that order.

If we discover an obvious pricing error after you order, we will contact you before dispatch. You may confirm the order at the corrected price or cancel it for a full refund.

4. How an order is made

  1. You complete the order form and choose your size.
  2. You are taken to a secure payment page provided by Stripe, where you enter your payment details and confirm payment.
  3. Your order is placed only when that payment is completed. Submitting the form before payment does not create an order and does not oblige you to pay.
  4. We send you an order confirmation by email. The contract is formed when we send that confirmation.
  5. We send a further email when your order is dispatched.

We store the contract details and will send them to you on a durable medium with your confirmation. The contract is concluded in English.

We may decline an order — for example if the product is unavailable, if we cannot ship to your address, or if we cannot verify your details. If we decline after you have paid, we refund you in full.

5. Payment

Payment is handled by Stripe, reached through our order form. Stripe processes your card or payment details directly; we never see or store your full card number.

Payment is taken when you place your order. Your order is not placed, and no contract exists, until payment has completed successfully.

The payment methods available to you are shown on the Stripe payment page.

6. Delivery

We deliver to addresses in the European Union and the United States.

We dispatch as soon as we can after your order is confirmed. If we have not delivered within 30 days of the contract being formed, you may set a reasonable additional period, and if we still fail to deliver you may cancel the contract and receive a full refund.

Risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or someone you nominate, takes physical possession of the goods.

7. Cancelling your order, and why returns are limited

Before your order ships. If you change your mind before we dispatch, write to info@ceriter.com and we will cancel your order and refund you in full.

After delivery — while the package is still sealed. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods, provided the sealed insole packaging has not been opened. Tell us before the period expires, by email to info@ceriter.com or using the model withdrawal form at the end of these terms. Return the goods within 14 days of telling us. We refund all payments received from you, including delivery, within 14 days of receiving the goods back or evidence that you have sent them.

After the seal is broken — no right to cancel. Stride One insoles are supplied sealed, and they are worn against the foot inside a shoe. Once the seal has been broken they cannot be returned for reasons of health protection and hygiene. This is permitted by Article 6:230p(g)(4) of the Dutch Civil Code, which excludes the right of withdrawal for sealed goods that are unsuitable for return on health or hygiene grounds where they have been unsealed after delivery.

By breaking the seal, you lose your right to cancel. We tell you this before you order, and it is printed on the packaging.

This does not affect your rights if something is wrong with the product. See section 8.

8. If something is wrong with the product

The hygiene exclusion in section 7 does not apply here. If the product is faulty, you can always come to us.

Under Dutch law you have a legal conformity guarantee for two years from delivery. The product must match its description, be fit for its purpose, and be of the quality and durability you can reasonably expect. If it does not conform, you may require repair or replacement and, where that is not possible or proportionate, a price reduction or termination of the contract with a refund.

If a fault appears within the first year, it is presumed to have been present at delivery unless we can show otherwise. After that first year, we may ask you to show that the fault was present at delivery.

What this covers: anything that was wrong at delivery — a manufacturing fault, a sensor that does not work, insoles that fail sooner than they reasonably should.

What it does not cover: normal wear from use, damage caused by misuse, accident, or use contrary to the instructions for use, and damage caused by attempting to modify or repair the device yourself.

We do not offer any additional commercial warranty. The two-year legal guarantee is what applies, and it is not something we can shorten.

To make a claim, write to support@ceriter.com describing the problem. If we need the product back to assess it, we pay the cost of returning it.

9. Software and app access

Access to the Stride One app and dashboard is provided under the terms supplied with the software. We may update the software, including to maintain conformity and security.

We provide access to the app and dashboard, and the updates needed to keep them working and secure, for at least two years from the date of delivery.

We intend to provide them for as long as you use the device. If we ever decide to withdraw Stride One from the market or discontinue the service, we will give you at least six months' notice and provide a way to export your data before access ends.

10. Your data

Personal data collected when you order is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Data collected by the device and the app is handled in accordance with the separate Stride One Device and App Privacy Notice, which is provided to you before you begin using the device.

11. Our liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded — including our obligations under product liability law and consumer law.

Subject to that, we are not liable for loss that was not foreseeable at the time the contract was formed, or for loss arising from your failure to follow the instructions for use or the instructions of your treating clinician.

12. Complaints and disputes

Please write to support@ceriter.com. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 3 working days and to resolve them within 14 days.

If we cannot resolve matters, EU consumers may use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged, and are not willing, to participate in proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.

14. Changes

We may change these terms. The version in force when you place your order is the version that applies to that order.
